The Parksville Beach Festival Society is proud to present a powerful and patriotic closing to this year’s festival with a special concert performance by The Naden Band of the Royal Canadian Navy, generously sponsored by Carol Riera PREC*, RE/MAX Anchor Realty.
This celebratory event takes place on Sunday, August 17, and marks the grand finale of Beach Festival 2025, held under the whimsical theme “Circus by the Sea.” With no opening act, audiences can enjoy two hours of an inspiring and masterful performance from one of Canada’s most esteemed military bands. Â
Comprised of 35 full-time professional musicians, the Naden Band has been representing the Royal Canadian Navy since 1940. Based out of CFB Esquimalt, and under the baton of Lieutenant (Navy) Ben Van Slyke, the band provides musical support for military ceremonies, official state functions, and community events across British Columbia. Their dedication to musical excellence and public engagement includes collaborations with the Victoria Symphony, University of Victoria, and the Canadian College of Performing Arts. The Parksville Beach Festival Society is thrilled to offer this very special concert to close this year’s festivities. Come help us celebrate the pride we all share in our great country and showcase your support of the Canadian Armed Forces. Bring your family, your patriotism, and your picnic blankets for this uplifting afternoon of music and Canadian spirit on the shores of Parksville Beach.

Cancellation Policy: The Parksville Beach Festival Society has a “no refund” policy for cancellations.
Pet Policy: Animals are NOT allowed inside the concert area, regardless if being carried. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.
Chairs available for rent for $5 or you are welcome to bring your own!
The Parksville Beach Festival Society is planning for liquor service provision at this event. Please note that concert goers are not allowed to bring alcohol or any other liquids into the venue and our team will screen for this at the entrance gate. Any prohibited items, including outside liquor, will be confiscated. As free potable water will be available on site attendees may however bring empty water bottles. There will be a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic refreshments available to purchase. We appreciate your cooperation.
