Creative Kids - MAC Comic Can Do Camp
July 7 - 11 - 10am - 3pm
A full week of art and fun! We will have a whole week to get creative and make some incredible art! We will be doing a bunch of projects like character development, building perspective and pen and ink projects. By the end of the week we will put it all together and create our very own comic. As well as comic book stuff there will be beach walks, popsicles, and SO MUCH MORE!
Location: Community Art Garden at the MAC
About the Instructor: Ā Kat Cearns is a multidisciplinary artist based in Coombs. Her art careerĀ has a focusĀ onĀ whimsical illustrationsĀ featuringĀ animals and nature inspired by her Vancouver Island home. Kat is currently working towards a BA of Visual Arts at VIU and loves every opportunity to learn a new art skill or to dig deeper to build on her existing skill set.Ā Her love ofĀ making art of all kinds and learning new thingsĀ is turning her eye towards teaching young people to embrace their creativity, too.Ā
