Artist Statement:
This is a series of new paintings that were done expressly for this venue. I started them in January of this year in the middle of winter. Thinking about Spring to come and the world of color that awaited. The magic of Spring was my inspiration for this work. I’m an avid gardener and was dreaming about all the bulbs that I had put in and what surprises would be popping up soon. I started to imagine a colourful wild garden of every description and that’s what I wanted to capture for this show. Â
