Art Gems - Wire Angel Sculpture with Sheena McCorquodale

Create your own wire angel sculpture, approximately 18” high, suitable for garden decor and more. 
No experience needed and tools and pre-cut materials supplied.

All materials provided (bring your protective gardening gloves)

Sheena says, “These figures have evolved from friends taking an interest in my larger sculptures and wanting to try out using chicken wire as a sculptural medium that can be left out in their gardens.
I've enjoyed seeing how they have been painted and decorated to make eye-catching features in their gardens.”

About the Instructor:   "I have worked as a graphic designer all my adult life in sign design, computer graphics, hand painted designs, TV set graphics, theatre set & prop design, and typography.

"I've explored my own creativity away from the commercial work environment with drawing, painting, and sculpture.  My favourite medium is sculpting with chicken wire. A surprisingly forgiving medium that provides me with endless opportunity to create. I love having the ability to breathe life into this relatively industrial, unlikely material."
