Plein Air Journey in Watercolour with Carla Flegel
Summer Sunday Plein Air Series
We will meet in four different locations and learn how to paint different scenes outdoors. Previous experience is not necessary. All art materials will be supplied.

Mariner's Choice: Recreate the ambiance of the fishing boats, wharfs and reflections at the iconic French Creek Marina

Location of class: French Creek Marina (meet in the first parking lot)
Please bring:
- hat
- sunscreen
- water bottle (for you)
- water and container for painting
- folding chair
- everything else will be supplied
About the Instructor: Carla Flegel has explored oils, acrylics and has recently settled on watercolour as her medium of choice. She loves the unpredictability as water, paint and paper meet, and how it paints itself if you let it.
Carla is a familiar figure painting outdoors in the Oceanside area and has recently returned from a trip to Italy with a sketchbook full of plein air watercolour paintings.
