Monday Art Gems - Block Printing on Silk Scarves with Margie Davidson

Join Margie on this one day workshop and block print on a silk scarf. Participants can expect information on how to plan out a design to fit the scarf using registration, pattern and grid. Some experience blockprinting is an asset. Note: Margie will be teaching an Art Bites Block Printing class Oct 1st .
All materials provided for this class. Participants who have carved blocks are encouraged to bring them.
About the Instructor: Margie Davidson is a quilt artist and surface designer. She enjoys painting, sunprinting, and blockprinting as well as cooking up colour with natural dyes. Her award-winning quilts have been exhibited in Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United States.
