Creative Kids - MAC Sail The Sea Camp
Aug 18-22 - 10am - 3pm
A full week of art and fun! We will have a whole week to get creative and make some incredible art! Make some waves with some fun underwater inspired art projects, Treasure chests and 3D maps, Ocean reliefs just to start . As always we will also be doing beach walks, eating popsicles, and MUCH MUCH more!!!!
Location: Community Art Garden at the MAC
About the Instructor: Ā Kat Cearns is a multidisciplinary artist based in Coombs. Her art careerĀ has a focusĀ onĀ whimsical illustrationsĀ featuringĀ animals and nature inspired by her Vancouver Island home. Kat is currently working towards a BA of Visual Arts at VIU and loves every opportunity to learn a new art skill or to dig deeper to build on her existing skill set.Ā Her love ofĀ making art of all kinds and learning new thingsĀ is turning her eye towards teaching young people to embrace their creativity, too.Ā
