Raku is a process originating in Japan. During a Raku firing, the clay and glazes are heated and colled very rapidly. They are removed from the kiln and plunged into bins of combustable materials to create a dazzling effect.
Each candle is Raku fired, a Japanese method using smoke & fire to create unique effects. Each pot is filled with hand poured beeswax, soy wax& coloured crayon wax.
