Art Gems - Layered Landscape: Mixed Media with Patt Scrivener

Celebrate the textures and colors of autumn in this hands-on, mixed media art workshop. We’ll explore intuitive layering techniques using paint, collage, mark making, and texture-building to create a unique fall-inspired landscape.
Whether you’re new to art or an experienced creator, this 4-hour workshop offers space to play and experiment. You will leave with a richly layered, expressive piece that reflects the season.
We’ll draw inspiration from fall colours, golden fields, misty hills, and moody skies. Abstract and expressive approaches encouraged.

About the Instructor: Patt was born and raised on a farm in Saskatchewan where she had plenty of time to pursue her creative talents. While pursuing her career in floral and interior design Patt honed her painting skills. In 2009 she became a full-time visual artist. She teaches workshops in acrylic, cold wax and oil, and encaustic. Her passion is sharing her knowledge and helping others on their creative journey.
