Vancouver Island artist Laurel Hibbert draws on her imagination and childhood memories to create paintings which are illustrative, whimsical and capture moments in time. Her work is noted for its vibrant colour and its story telling quality.
Born in Port Alberni, Vancouver Island Adina moved to Venice, Italy where she studied art. Upon her return to Canada she studied art and design at Vancouver Island University. She draws inspiration from her natural surroundings and Venetian architecture, working in acrylic, watercolour, charcoal and pencil.
